Meet our Executive Director, Dave Wenten, RN
About Dave
Dave Wenten has passionately worked within the HIV specialized healthcare community for more than 15 years. In addition to being a Registered Nurse, Dave also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation. Dave has been with Holton Street Clinic for nine years where he held a number of positions prior to his appointment as Executive Director.Dave has been instrumental in the reorganization of service delivery at Holton Street Clinic and has been responsible for leading his team in their efforts to be a well-respected and effective organization. Under Dave's leadership, the Clinic has expanded the types of testing that can be completed, allowing for a comprehensive, all-inclusive service for clients and has consistently met or surpassed testing goals.
Dave has also served on the Statewide Action Planning Committee for HIV-related issues and has worked with the Medical College of Wisconsin on a variety of HIV-related projects. Prior to his employment with Holton Street Clinic, Dave worked as a Director with elderly and mentally ill individuals in a long-term care rehabilitation setting.
